L'Association Française de la Gestion Financière

L'Association Française de la Gestion Financière - AFG is the French Asset Management Association, representing investment funds and individual portfolio management. It is a professional association which offers three types of services to its members: a forum of exchange and thought through its 17 ad hoc working groups and committees, consulting assistance via the telephone information service for legal, fiscal, accounting or statistical questions and it serves as a centre of documented resources.

L'A.F.G.-A.S.F.F.I. has just set up a new Standing Committee on ethical financial management, presided over by T. Deheuvels, Vice-President of Axa-Investment Managers.

Cercle de Liaison des Informateurs Financiers en France

Le Cercle de Liaison des Informateurs Financiers en France (CLIFF), created in May 1987, is an association of investor relations managers of French listed companies. Together, the companies represented account for 90 % of the total market value.

CLIFF's mission is to express the investor relations profession's opinion to the business and financial community on issues related to the organization, distribution and ethics of financial information.

L'Association Française des Entreprises pour l'Environnement

The French Association of Companies and the Environment has a mission to develop efficient ways to tackle the problems linked to the environment, to mobilise companies, to express their point of view on these subjects and to promote their capabilities and their enthusiasm in the domain of environmental protection.

Observatoire sur la Responsabilité Sociale des Entreprises

ORSE – Observatoire sur la Responsabilité Sociétale des Entreprises, or Study Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility, is a French network designed to study and promote socially responsible investment (SRI), corporate social responsibility as well as all the issues related to sustainable development. ORSE is a non-profit organisation that was set up in June 2000.

ORSE created a series of working groups dedicated to themes such as: Societal Rating of Companies, How to elaborate a sustainable development report, Managing sustainable development, Transforming of the endorser's role within the company, How do sustainable development strategies cultivate company economic and financial performance?, Corporate governance and sustainable development, Social indicators.
